Hi, I’m Amy. I help high-achieving individuals and teams break free from stress and anxiety by equipping them with the tools, strategies and confidence to build resilience and thrive at work and in life.

With a background in Psychology and Organisational Psychology, and over 20 years in senior HR leadership roles across both small private firms and large global organisations, I’ve seen first-hand how stress, uncertainty and constant pressure can impact performance, wellbeing and self-belief.

I founded Mindwise Consulting to offer evidence-based, practical support that helps individuals and organisations not just survive but truly thrive.

My Journey into Hypnotherapy, Resilience and Wellbeing

My career has always centred around understanding how people can be at their best, not just in terms of performance, but in how fulfilled, valued and in control they feel.

Working in senior HR roles within professional services, I saw the pressures that come with fast-paced, ambiguous and demanding environments. I supported individuals to manage stress and self-doubt, but too often I saw brilliant people burn out. I wanted to do more to help.

That drive became more personal when I had children myself and experienced first-hand the challenge of juggling a senior role with the demands of career, family, and the constant feeling that I wasn’t giving my best to any area of my life. I worked with a coach who helped me to realise the importance of connecting to my values and prioritising my own wellbeing. That learning, and the changes I made as a result, deepened my commitment to helping others build true resilience.

My own experience with hypnotherapy was another turning point. I overcame a long-held phobia of tube trains through hypnotherapy, and the shift was life-changing. It wasn’t just about managing fear, it was about rewiring how I responded to stress and uncertainty.

I went on to train professionally in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and Stress Management and Resilience which enabled me to bring together corporate insight and psychological tools to help others regain their calm, clarity and confidence.

Resilience isn’t about pushing through, it’s about building the mindset, skills and self-awareness to handle pressure and bounce back stronger. And it doesn’t have to come too late. Through my work, I’m able to share these tools with others before burnout hits and give them the best chance to truly thrive.
